It's no secret that fresh, glowy skin is in. However, excess oils can be counter-productive in one's plight to achieve an instagram-worthy glossier glow.

Follow these 5 Kristofer Buckle tips and tricks to find the perfect foundation for your oily skin.

1. Use an Oil Free Foundation

When shopping for foundation, always make sure its oil free. If you struggle with a greasy T-zone or makeup-meltdown, adding excess oils will exacerbate the problem.

2. Go for a Matte Finish

Choosing a foundation with a matte finish is crucial. Because those with oily skin have a some added natural shine, balancing it with matte foundation will give you a glowy, fresh-faced look.

3. Utilize Powder

Powder works to absorb natural oils, rather than letting them sit on skin- so if you struggle with looking greasy, a powder-based foundation could be the right move for you.

Alternatively, you can use a loose powder to “bake” your face. To Bake: add a thick layer of powder, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then dust it off for optimal results.

4. Try a Buildable Formula

If you use a light, buildable foundation you'll be able to layer it without looking cakey. This way, if extra oils appear throughout the day, you can layer as needed.
