A Guide to Euphoria-Inspired Halloween Makeup Looks

It's only taken HBO's new hit series, Euphoria, 8 episodes to transfix pop culture. Between the modern day skins-style storyline, bold wardrobe and unique makeup-- it's no secret why everyone's obsessed. Like many others, we're living for Euphoria-inspired makeup; and what better opportunity to embrace the glittering, neon and abstract looks dawned by Euphoria's cast than Halloween?

We've rounded up some of our favorite Euphoria looks so you can transform yourself into the badass, bold, expressive characters we fell in love with on season one!

Maddy

Everyone's favorite style-savvy bad girl, Maddy Perez, emerged as Euphoria's makeup icon. Between her face jewels, bold shadow choices and poppy-lip colors, Maddy's day-to-day makeup is perfect to recreate for a glam Halloween look.

Beauty-Blogger Desi Perkin's created a Maddy-inspired makeup tutorial complete with the ultimate it-girl cat eye.

Pro Tip: KB's Stunt Double Eyeliner is the perfect tool to create a flaw-free wing since it's equipped with a corrector that allows you fix your mistakes without affecting the rest of your makeup!

Jules

When it comes to Juels, it's all about color play-- the brighter, the better. The adventurous sprit is consistently dawning neon shades, abstract lines and glitter.

Euphoria makeup artist Doniella told Into the Gloss "I wanted to create a euphoric version of reality through makeup, and use colors and textures that would be bold enough to hover above reality. I wanted to inspire people to recreate their own versions of the looks or try things they didn't feel were allowed or appropriate for everyday.”

Although you may not incorporate Jules' bold looks into your daily makeup routine, you can channel her affinity for whimsical looks this Halloween by grabbing bold, pigmented shadow's-- we like Psyche's Box by Claropsyche. Play with yellows, pinks, sunset hues and color blocking- you really can't go wrong since Jules makeup is always so experimental!

Be sure to set your look with a powerful Setting Spray so your color stays in place throughout the night!

Kat

Kat exudes the badass, care-free confidence that we aspire to incorporate into our own lives. Kat's Alien-green eyeshadow on Episode 4 got endless attention  from Euphoria fans because of its bold color and dramatic lines (since we're always told blending is our eyeshadow's BFF).

Doniella explained to Who What Wear, "Instead of a blended look, I wanted to keep it all crisp because I knew there would be a lot of dark shadows during the carnival footage. To keep things relatively unpolished and feeling real, I chose to blur her lips with a tint."

If you're looking to recreate Kat's bold carnival look, grab a green palette (like this one by Huda Beauty) and don't shy away from a hyper-pigmented look.

Doniella explained that after priming the eyes with bold green shadow, "Move on to a shimmery, light-green eye shadow to dust on top. This helps to set the cream color. Then, apply a tiny bit of green glitter or a really shimmery green eye shadow toward the inner corners of your eyes to add reflection there."

To finish the look, line your waterline with a black liner, and top it off with several coats of mascara
